Rwanda Simbi

This beautifully expressive natural-processed coffee comes from Simbi Coffee, a washing station and co-operative in Rwanda’s Huye District, where 1,850 smallholder farmers produce exceptional Bourbon coffees at altitudes of 1,700–1,850 metres.
 
This microlot was sourced from just 300 farmers in the Rugarama area and showcases the vibrant character that Rwandan coffees are known for.
 
In the cup, expect layers of orange liqueur, juicy blackcurrant, sweet almond and rich chocolate, with a naturally fruity sweetness and smooth, indulgent finish. Simbi has been producing high-quality coffees since its washing station opened in 2013, with 80% of its members being women, and a strong focus on careful selection, processing and community development.
